“To know, to love and to serve Christ”

The Mission of the Charlotte Catholic Women's Group is to foster in women a greater desire to know, love and serve Jesus Christ and His Church.

As a community founded on love for each other and faithful to the Magisterium, the CCWG offers opportunities for spiritual formation, apostolic projects and social events.
CCWG membership is open to all women within the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlotte.

Summer Camp with Missionaries of Charity

Apostolic Project: Sister Martinella & the Sisters of the Missionaries of Charity are grateful for CCWG members & friends providing meals for their summer camp program. This year, they expect 120 participants, so we really need your help. Consider teaming up with friends, family and create a group to complete the meals and delivery.

There are four weeks with four days each starting July 9th through August 2nd. Here is the link to the SignUpGenus.com list of food needs, instructions, and contact information. Thank you!

Volunteering at the Eucharistic Congress

We need volunteers for the youth tracks, to help sell books for the speakers, as well as greeters and ushers. We also have a new procession route this year so we need a lot more procession volunteers. Specifically, we need:
**Children’s Track Volunteer: Saturday – 11:45a-3:30p
**Procession Volunteer: Saturday – 8a-10:30a
**Greeter: Friday 6-9p, Saturday 8-10a, 10-12p, 12-2p, or 2-4p
**Book Sales: Friday 6-9p, Saturday 10a-12p, 12-2p, or 2-4p
**Usher: Friday 6:30 – 9:30p, Saturday 9:00 -11:30am, 11:30-4:00p, 4:00-6:00p

To volunteer, go online and register yourself at www.GoEucharist.com, and click on “volunteer”. All volunteers are required to have a current background check on file with the Diocese, and most positions also require Protecting God’s Children. Once you are registered, a volunteer captain will contact you with additional information.

Thank you!
